The governing body was reconstituted in January 2015.

The governing body is composed of different categories of governor. Local authority governors are appointed by Leicester City Council. Parent governors are elected by the parents of children at the school. Staff governors are elected by the teaching and non-teaching staff at the school. Co-opted governors are appointed by the governing body. There are currently 7 governors at Sandfield Close.

The Chair of Governors is Mr Shilen Pattni.
