CYBER PASS

This term, in year 6 we have been learning about how to be safe on the internet using a website called cyber pass, which the school provides. On cyber pass there is a wide variety of subjects to help you on the internet for example; settings; privacy; looking; share; playing; talking; friends; money. These apps provide reasons for you to not open many email in case of a virus. The website gives great ideas on how to keep safe online. This website does not only provide text to keep you safe but it provides games ,videos and a checklist on whether you think you have achieved and memorized how to stay safe.

Making a strong password

It is essential to have a strong password in case someone tries to ;access ,hack or delete your account ,various accounts have been hacked due to not having a strong password .There are many different things you should not use as a password such as your name or your date of birth ,the reason these should not be used as passwords is because all your friends and family will be able to guess it .A suitable password must include ;letters ,numbers ,capital letters and lower case letters .

Sharing photos

When posting a photo of someone else always get permission to post it in case they think there is something in the picture that gives away where the location is ,where they live ,what school they go to , or where you hang out .Make sure in every photo you post there is no sign that shows where you are or includes your school badge .
