Pronouns
A pronoun is a word which replaces a noun.
For example, I, me, you, us, we, it are pronouns. They are also used for cohesion. For example, the sentence below doesn't sound interesting.
Tyler has a dog and everyday after school Tyler walks the dog in the park.
The correct version:
Tyler has a dog called Bella and everyday after school he walks her in the park.
Explanation:
You can replace 'Tyler' with he and 'the dog' with it.
One type of pronouns is possessive pronouns. They tell you about possession( if you own something). For example, hers, mine, yours, theirs are all possessive pronouns.
This is Louise's dress it is hers.
It is Camron's toy it is his.
