Introduction:

Mexico is located between North America and South America,The Gulf Of Mexico is

to it's East and The North Pacific Ocean is to it's West.

Population:

As of July 2000, the population of Mexico was estimated to be100,349,766.

This is 19,099,766 more than the 1990 population of 81,250,000, reflecting

a ten-year increase of 23.5 percent. In 2000, the birth rate was estimated

to be 23.15 per 1,000. This was more than 4 times the death rate of 5.05

per 1,000. Based on a projected annual growth rate of 1.8 percent, the

population is expected to number approximately 120 million by the year

2010.

Capital:

Mexico City.

Size:

The country's total

square miles, or nearly 3 times the size of Texas. Its capital, Mexico City,

is located in the south-central part of the country.

Religion:

There is no official religion in Mexico, as the constitution guarantees

separation of church and state. However, more than nine-tenths of the

population are at least nominally affiliated with Roman Catholicism.

Sports:

Football,bull-fighting,bull-riding,wrestling,boxing,water sports such as

swimming,scuba-diving, snorkeling and surfing.

Day of the dead,Christmas,Easter,Birthdays and New Years Eve.

Food:

Mexican cuisine especially primarily a fusion of indigenous Mesoamerican

cooking with Spanish, elements added after the Spanish conquest of the

Aztec Empire in the 16th century. The basic staples remain native foods such as

corn, beans and chili peppers, but the Europeans introduced a large number of

other foods, the most important of which were meat from domesticated animals

(beef, pork, chicken, goat and sheep), dairy products especially cheese and

various herbs and lots of spices.
