Roald Dahl

Dahl was born in Wales and his parents were born in Norway and he spent his early years in Llandaff. His first book was The Gremlins it was published April 1943 -December 1942.He joined the Royal Navy!!He was married to Patrisa Neal.

He created a lot of books for his kids `Olivia Phelia and Else` he made Gremlins, Boy, Charlie and the great glass elevator , Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Going solo, Esio Trot, Magic Finger, Matilda, BFG, George's Marvellous Medicine, The Witches, The Twits, Minipins, Fantastic Mr Fox, James And The giant Peach, Revolting Rhymes.

Roald Dahl's favourite colour was Yellow so he always wrote his books on yellow paper. He also loved reading children's books so that's why he made  children's books. If he never read children's books he would only write adult books.

He has made up so many words like fabodiculous which is the weirdest word ever. He sadly died at the age of 78. We will never write books ever again but

as long as we remember him he will be a best

selling book author.
