Be Safe On The Internet
Don't open suspicious E-mails
they might contain viruses
the viruses might stop your computer
from working.
When searching on
the internet make sure
your spelling is correct
and you type in the
correct words.
Check your information
on at least three other websites
to make sure the information is correct.
If not, look in a library or ask your teacher to make
sure.
Try not to click on or reply to Emails
saying things like 'You have won an iPhone 6!'
or 'Reply, and win a trip to Australia!'
it might be a trick an then they could send you more junk mail!
If a website doesn't have https://
it might not be safe because the 's'
stands for secure or safe.
It is not safe to save your password
on a shared or public computer because
someone could go onto your account and
delete everything.
Before clicking on a
hyperlink, hover over it and look
in the bottom left of your screen.
Then you willl be able to see where it
will take you.
If there is a padlock on
the web is a good sign of security but
you should click on the padlock to check
that the security certificate is up to date.
If someone starts
harassing you report them to the game's
moderator.
