As well as celebrating science week we have been exploring the topic, called 'Bumper to Bumper.' Some of the activities included; sorting floating and sinking materials, discussing safety on the roads and making balloon transport. We have been subtracting amounts from a group and continuing our work on phase 4 phonics.

Next week we will be celebrating mothers! Do not forget your goodies so your child can pamper you on the day. There will also be a few other activities that you can join in with your child also available. We will also be continuing with phase 4 phonics. We are learning all about initial clusters and continuing to practice segmenting and blending our words. We will also we writing in sentences using a capital letter to begin and a full stop to end. In maths we will be exploring the composition of the number 5.

Our Challenge

Please fill in the mothers day questionnaire. Can you support your child read some of the words? Can they also write some/all of the answers? How much you support your child to complete the questionnaire is entirely is up to you. Please return them and we can share with the class later on that week.
