What are the names of the two characters at the beginning of the story?

The two names at the beginning of the story was Mowgli and father wolf.

What is special about Mowgli's family? How do we know?

His parents are wolves and he is a human.

The story is set in the Seoni hills. Rain thrummed down outside the cave, churning the forest floor into mud.

What can you tell us about Raksha? Find evidence in the text.

She is very strong and agile, she is not fragile.

Why are the young cubs are going to the "Looking Over"?

The cubs must be brought to the rock so the rest of the pack may may identify them, learn their faces and memorize their smell.
