Morning 4K! 
Some great learning yesterday, 
so lets continue in that spirit today! Remember to scroll down each page and press on the right hand corner tab to access each lesson below in more detail.

Today the suggestion is that you find time to do the following tasks just like a school day. 

9.00: Destination Reader

The tasks are all to be completed to the best of your ability (remember Miss Khurana still has high expectations of you!), but I also want to see your creative side so feel free to send me exciting ways you have met each objective. I look forward to seeing your learning in action : ).

9.45 - 10.45 Maths: Fractions Note that all Maths tasks this week can be found on mathletics    

Remember, it's important you don't just
do tasks for the sake of it! 

Good learning means asking questions and clarifying if needed. Speak to an adult if you have any questions or use Mr google to help break down the topic into steps you understand.

Hopefully this will be a good start to your maths home learning experience. Then, next week we will try and incorporate some reasoning tasks like we complete in class.

11.00 - 12.30 Literacy: Persuasive Writing 

Having completed a cold task already at school, this week I have set tasks I feel can build your understanding of persuasive writing and give you deeper knowledge and understanding to produce an excellent end task (hot task).

1.30 - 2.30 Science: Habitats and Living Things  

Before you start Science this afternoon, lets work off some of that lunch with a little go noodle : )

Success Criteria: 
I can sort living things into groups 
I can generate criteria to sort living things 
I can sort living things into a Venn diagram 
 
TASK 1: Draw or physically create (if you have large hoops in the house) a Venn diagram like the one below. Remember the hoops/circles have to overlap in the middle!

Task 2: Look at the animals in the diagram below. Generate a criteria (heading) for each hoop/circle and sort the animals in the Venn Diagram. As you don't have access to these pictures to cut out just draw them on a piece of paper (remember its a Science lesson not an Art lesson so just a rough sketch of the animals will do).

2.30 - 3.00 Reflection Diary: 

Remember mental health matters, not just today but every day! 

﻿One way to keep track of our feelings and emotions as well as our experiences is to keep a diary. So,at the end of each day I encourage you all to take a few moments to reflect on your day and write a few lines that you can share with everyone else in the class.
