African lions have declined from about 200,000 to 20,000 because of humans killing them for their fur, teeth and meat.

African lions:

Lifespan:Male lions live to about 12 to 13 years but the females tend to live from 14 to 16.

Size: Head and body: 158-250 cm Tail: 60-100 cm

Weight: 110-235 kg

Diet: Plant eaters- such as zebras

Habitat:African Savannas
