Robert Falcon Scott

A bit about him

Robert Falcon Scott was born proudly on the 6th of June 1868 and died on the 29th of March 1912. When he was a child he went to Stubbington House School. He married Kathleen Scott mid 1908-1912 and they had a child called Peter Scott.

What he did when he went to the Antarctic?

He went to Antarctica twice, on the first time he went to the South Pole with Ernest Shackleton, they had gone further south then anyone ever.

He reached the Antarctic but was beaten by a Norwegian Traveller, he died there with his whole team, he is still known right to this day. We would know nothing if he didn’t write the one and only diary, He also wrote a few letters to his family. When they reached there they saw the Norwegian flag, they all lost the hope, when they were a few miles away four of them were in a tent because of a blizzard, one of them went out into the blizzard to help them, he was never seen again.

Do you know anyone who has been to?
