The Food Chain Of A
Blue Whale
The Blue Whale (consumer and predator) lives in most of the world’s oceans. It is the largest animal in the world, but
it mostly eats a very small creature. This is the Krill (consumer and prey). It looks like a shrimp. It is 2 inches long and mostly transparent.
Krill eat Phytoplankton (producer). Phytoplankton produce their own food from the sun (energy source). This process is called photosynthesis.
