The children have been learning all about their dreams and goals this week. We have even been dancing and singing to a band called S club 7 and learning the song, 'Reach!' I do hope you had chance to discuss the goal that they set and hope you find sometime to support them in the process of reaching their goal.

Challenge 1

Next week we are reading a book called Kippers Toy Box by Mick Inkpen. If you do have the the book at home, it would be lovely if you would read it with your child. There is a copy on You Tube if you prefer, the link is: https://youtu.be/GBUW9hHpfuc

Please discuss the feelings of Kipper throughout the story. Can they tell you why Kipper was sad? How did Kipper feel at the end of the story and why?

If you do not have access to the story, please do discuss their thoughts on what makes people happy and sad and also share memories on what has made them happy or sad in the past.

Challenge 2

Next week we will be looking at odd and even numbers. Can you look at the houses as you walk to the shops or to school? Can they read the numbers and discuss the pattern? Could they even identify which side of the street has odd numbers and which is even?

1. Please name all clothing, I cannot stress how important this is. This includes P.E pumps too!
