The Titanic set sail in 10th April 1912.It was one of the biggest ships on the world it was 269 metres long which is 822 feet which's the same as 22 buses lined up end to end.

The Titanic was one of the most sturdy ships in the world.It was the biggest movable object.It was 882 feet long.I't had the best furniture you can you could think of.The ship traveled from Belfast to Southampton after to Queens town then started a voyage to New York but sadly they where at the Atlantic ocean and they had Iceburg warnings and the captain orderd them to send CQD it means come quick disaster and when it cut a gaping hole at the hull it began to sink then they sent a message called SOS it stands for save our soles. then the captain orderd for the lifeboats to be lowerd.
