Our learning theme for next week will be ‘Family Groups’. Your child will spend time in their allocated family group, getting to know their new F1 and F2 friends and the key adults that will greet them each day. Your child will come home with either a 'Butterfly' or 'Ladybird' puppet to indicate which group they are in. For the challenge, please help your child to find out a fact about their family group insect and we will share this in a circle time on Wednesday. You can send this is in via your child’s wallet or post their fact on the Foundation Challenge Blog.

Next week we will be using a range of media to create a puppet as well as a picture to decorate the family group carpet areas to further develop the children’s sense of belonging. The children will also be introduced to more of the fun activities that form part of our weekly timetable, such as Write Dance in Foundation 1 and Guided Reading Foundation 2.

Information for Foundation 2 (Reception)

Your child will choose a new library book each week on a Thursday. Next week the children will be learning i, n, m & d in our phonics sessions. Reading Together will begin on: Wednesday 27th September, 3pm-3:30pm. If you require further information please speak to Mrs Turner.
