L.I: I can plan a balanced argument about deforestation.

-People shouldn't cut down trees because it is the habitat for animals where some will eventually become extinct. Nature breathes there.

-Plants and animals will die, animals will become homeless and the rainforest will have no purpose.

-Even if trees can be replanted it may take years to grow.

-Deforestation adds to global warming, as trees help to control the climate.

-People complain there's not enough land so people need more land than animals.

-We need to destroy some of the rain forest so there is more land for us.

-Trees can be replanted in a different place to free up some of the land.

-deforestation provides work for many people and poor countries depends on the money it creates.

-Many people rely on rainforest wood for building, as well as meat and crops from farmed rainforest land.
