On Saturday 7th March 2020, it was Katie's birthday. Her parents got Katie a cat as a present. She always wanted a cat and was responsible so they knew that Katie could have a cat as a present.

While Katie was having pancakes for breakfast, her mum and dad prepared the surprise for her. When Katie finished her breakfast her mum said, "Katie, come in

the garden. We have a surprise for you."

"Oh good!" she screamed with excitement. Katie came running to the

garden with joy! Her mum saw her and

giggled. "There is your present. My cute

daughter," she said while pointing at a

box on the table. Katie which was bursting with excitement opened the

box. "There's nothing in it." she said confused. "Let's look under the table,"

her mum said. It wasn't under the table.

"Look up there," her dad said. Up in the

tree was there was the surprise - the cat.
