Birdwatching with 4 green

On Friday 13th February 2015, 4Green went birdwatching on the parkland walk.We saw lots of birds mainly because there were trees all around us.We partnered up together. My group was me, Francesca and Patrick. To help us get a good view of the birds we used binoculars. At first we looked for birds on a small porch outside our school then we moved down onto the parkland walk. Some of us were in two and some in threes. If you were in a two one of you would have a clipboard and pencil and a sheet of all the different birds. And the other would have binoculars and everytime they spotted a bird they would write a tally next to the bird on the sheet.

If you were in a three two of you would have binoculars and the other would have the sheet. My group saw in total 65 birds which was one of the most. Pretty much everyone saw lots of birds. The most type of bird my group saw was the Wood Pigeon. One of the least type of bird my group saw was the woodpecker. To make things faster we split up into two groups.
