Sean was the only person who had taken notice of the warning.

A great flood had swept over the planet, and now life was very

different.

Everyone was living underwater. Since Sean was the only person

to take notice of this warning he had built himself a glass tank

to fit him and his house. Sean's house was now dilapidated

because he had built it in a rush. Every day, he would make a fire to keep himself warm, as he had no electricity underwater. Living in a tank had its pros: for example, if Sean weren't trapped in the tank he would be able to get to Australia from England in about 50 mins.

Each day would pass very quickly, but he didn't seem to mind as the fish would keep him company by swimming around the tank and peaking through the glass . Soon after, Sean became tired of watching fish come and go. He needed space to move and got bored of living in a tank. Unfortunately, it was impossible for Sean to break out from the tank as then what would become of his house and belongings? Finally, Sean made up his mind, he was going to use his hammer to break the glass and use the broken pieces of wood from his house to stay afloat.

So, finally one night or day, Sean couldn't really tell from the light, Sean took his hammer and broke the glass that had been surrounding for some time now. The glass shattered into little pieces, but made no noise. Just as he had planned, his house fell apart and he floated away to the brim using a big piece of wood. He let the tide transport him anywhere, but never again to the bottom of the sea.

1. Sean survived the great flood because he was the only person who took the warning, so he was ready for the great flood and built himself a tank in order to survive.

2. The things that Sean would need to survive are lots of food and water, a bed or a sleeping bag, a first aid kit in case he gets an injury, he would also need things to pass time such as books. He went to the shop and stockpiled his groceries and supplies when he first heard of the warning.

3. The biggest dilemmas that Sean faces are whether he will ever be able to see his family anymore, and if he should have just let himself drown instead of living in a fairly cramped tank until the end of time.

4. I think that even though Sean has all the fish as company, he still feels very lonely as he can't communicate to anyone but himself.
