My Balanced Argument On Deforestation

By Benjamin

Deforestation is destroying a lot of the life in the rainforest. Many animals are going

to be extinct at this rate. Many species are losing their homes and suffering the consequences of human activity. These forests are known as "the lungs of the earth", and provide much of our oxygen. Over 200,000 acres of rainforest are lost every day.

But people need the trees for furniture and special plants for medicine. We need space for the growing population, which means more mouths there are to feed, and more food sources are required, such as farms.

This is a hard situation to decide what to do. At this rate, there will be no rainforest left. We need to limit ourselves soon.
