The Titanic was a huge

ship built by White Star

Line. It launched into the

North Atlantic on March

31st 1912 and hit

an iceberg on April 15th 1912.



At 2am on April 15th 1912 the ship hit an iceberg. They only had about 20 lifeboats. About 1,500 people lost their life because the water was -2 degrees C. The RMS saw the signal but when they arrived the ship had already sank.

had delicious food, a swimming pool, squash courts, barber shop and a reading or waiting room. The second class was not too bad. They had to share the room with other people but they had access to an outdoor promenade, relaxation room, library and dining room. Third class was not that good. 10 People had to share 1 cabin also all 700 third class passengers have too share 2 bath tubs!

The Titanic was a huge luxurious ship. It was 23 metres wide, 53 metres tall and 269 metres long. There was over 2200 people on board, 900 crew members and the rest passengers. The Titanic left to New York on 31st March 1912. There were 3 classes. First class was the most expensive class. They had a lot of space and privacy. They
