My first day at school



After waiting such a long time, the first day of school finally arrived. I was nervous but excited too, I had butterflies in my tummy.



My dad took me to school in the car and we parked by the sea front. We walked a steep hill carrying my rucksack and lunch box.

When I got into the classroom my legs were shaking as I took my seat. We all introduced ourselves and talked about our personalities. We sorted our books for the next day and discussed what we will be doing in the year ahead. By this time, I had already made some new friends, we made each other laugh at break time.

It was super fun going back to school. I couldn't wait for the next day!
