DINOSAUR PLANET
HOME LEARNING - Summer 2- Week 4 w/b 22nd June 2020
We are looking forward to welcoming some of you into school again for our second week. If you are working at home then please continue to work hard and send some photos and let me know how you are getting on this week.
ENGLISH
*Task 1 - Click on the link and watch the clip called
'Bubbles' on Literacy Shed.
If you were to find a bottle of magic bubbles and you
could fly anywhere in the world, then where would you
go to and why? Complete a 'Where would you like to go
in your bubble?' worksheet. Draw a picture and write a
description of the place you would like to go. Use full
sentences with a capital letter to start and a full stop to
finish. (This work will be completed in school)
Task 2 - Click on the link and listen to the Dinosaur
poems. Which is your favourite? Tell me on the blog.
You could choose to write and illustrate the poem in
your best writing. Can you find a Dinosaur poem and
write it on the blog for your friends to enjoy. Try
learning 'I'm a Diplodocus' and perform it to your
family. Add some actions!
Task 3 - Dinosaur Riddles. Can you write a riddle and ask a family
member to guess which dinosaur you are thinking of ? Start with
'Who am I?' Write 3 or 4 clues in simple sentences. Read each clue
in turn and see if they can name the dinosaur. You could make a lift
the flap book and reveal your dinosaur!
Task 4 - Choose the 3* super sentences worksheet.
Put in capital letters and full stops to complete the
sentences.
Task 5 - Put in the correct punctuation in the
sentences. Does it need a full stop, question mark or exclamation
mark. Choose your level 1*, 2* or 3*.
Task 6 - Complete the Sunflower reading comprehension answering
the questions in full sentences.
