''You can’t leave without me! Where are you going?'' The words came out like a squeak; her throat felt tight as she struggled to fight back the tears that had begun to stain her pale cheeks.

Mud was now splattered up the front of her dress as she stumbled over the sodden ground. A feeling of overwhelming panic and despair filled her trembling body and she fell asleep. Suddenly in the middle of the night the girl heard scream. She woke up with a start feeling Terrified.

'' This is just a dream'' she said to herself,but then she realized that it wasn't and she started running. The sound got louder after every step she took, in whatever direction she ran. After hours of constant running the sun started shining and the girl realized that it was morning. The little girl didn't know where she was! It was completely different to what she was used to! There was a lot of animals of all different shapes and sizes. The animals were a looking at her in evil anger.

They were about to attack the poor little girl but the king lion stopped them saying

''STOP! no one is to go near her! She might be useful, she might know something about the queen'' No one moved because no one dared disobey the king!

''But I don't know who the Queen is or where she lives'' the little girl said helplessly

'' You rather tell us or you WILL be sorry! '' the king lion said fiercely

''but I told you, I don't know were she is! '' said the little girl and she started crying.

''My king'' said a fox feeling sorry for the little girl ''I think she is telling the truth, so we should not hurt her."

''Are you sure about that" the king asked"

''Yes" said the fox

''You may go." said the lion after a moment of thinking

''but I got left behind" said the young girl

"what do you mean young girl"

"I mean that I don't have a home please may I live with you I will cook I will tidy and even find the Queen if possible" pleaded the young girl

"okay you may but only if you find the Queen" said the lion king

"I have a question" said the young girl in a quite voice

"Go on ask" said the king

"What happened to the Queen" said the girl

"Well she was walking through the forest, and got hit by a bow arrow and then I went and bit a man by his arm and left because they were trying to kill me. I tried to get her but she told me to go, from that day on I never found her" said the king

"What about if she died" said the girl in a sad voice

"NO! I believe that she is still alive and I will find her"

The animals took the young girl to the Kings House

"Can I ask one more question please" Asked the little girl
