A Birthday is a very special day. It was my 9th birthday, on the 28th of August, and a most memorable one.

I was coming back home from an outing with my uncle and I didn't have any knowledge that my grandparents had arranged a surprise birthday party for me. All my family had come over.

My aunt had brought a big cake for me. The house was decorated with balloons. The guests were served with cold drinks and variety of snacks. Everyone was in a joyful mood. We cut the cake, played games and ate some delicious food.

My grandmother and grandfather gave me a TV as a present. I unpacked the gifts and felt unbound joy to see so many lovely gifts. This day was the happiest of my life. My last birthday was the best birthday celebration I ever had!!!
