So for my first blog I was thinking about using the topic of London and how long I have been here. This is a pretty good topic seeing as I have lived in London for a decade and a couple of weeks. Where I lived when I was young I used to be in Stratford but the house was taken away so then the Olympic stadium could be built. I moved to St. Marys Tower. When I felt bored I would go to the park and play all day and if I found any friends there I would have a great time with them. A bit later on I noticed in Fortune Park there was a secret swing! It was a piece of wood attached to some rope which was tied to a tree. Everyone would spin on it and get really dizzy! Sadly the swing was taken away so we don’t play on it any more.

The River Thames

Once when I was with my mum and I chose to go for a walk we both decided to go to The River Thames. When we got there the tide came in so we just sat on the wall and ate some nuts. When you go on the bridge to the other side of the river at the front it usually a man sells honey rusted nuts. Mmmm! They are lovely when in winter. The next day we went mud larking and found all sorts of pottery. Because of Science week in school I also did mud larking.

The Weather

In London it’s very gloomy but in summer it can be very sunny. Some days when we get picked up it can end up raining even if it was sunny in the morning. It can also be cloudy and (rarely) snowing at Christmas!
