Journey to School by Isaac Clough

Question Time

1) Yes i think the children find the journey to school difficult because they have to travel very far, there's lots of rocky mountains and slippery ice. They also have to wrap up very warm as it is very cold.

2) I think their school will be similar because it's a school and they do learning but different as it is a place with tonnes of mountains and it's very cold. They also wouldn't have as many rooms or pupils.

3) The adults in the picture are the children's parents and they are carrying emergency backpacks and sledges. They might also be carrying food and water if they need a break on the journey and medical kits incase of any accidents.

4) I think these children are from The Himalayas because it is very cold there and they have lots of mountains.

5) I think the children would be very happy at our school because it's a lot warmer than where they live and we have big classrooms and school meals and indoor toilets.

I think i would be a bit terrified going to their school because it's much colder and they might not have a indoor toilet. Also the journey is very long and hard work.
