They are both Buddihist and Shintoist. When a Japanese baby is born , the cezemony is held in the Shinto Shrine while when someone dies , the ceremony takes place in a Buddhist temple.

Famous scientist in Japan: Dr.Shuji Nakamura is a Japanese engineer and inventor who is best known for the development of energy-efficient lighting technology. In 2014, he received a Nobel Prize in Physics for his invention.
