It's Christmas Time

"It's the most wonderful time of the year!", I told my mum. "We've got so much to do, ". Christmas is my favourite time of the year. It is celebrated on the 25th of December. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

On Christmas day we wake up and open presents, have a family dinner and then go home, shopping or somewhere to have fun. I adore Christmas shopping, it really gets me into the Christmas season. My mum, aunt and I love to decorate with gnomes.

We decorate the house by putting up the most famous Christmas tree, put the crib, the manger and lots of lights and stickers on the windows. The Christmas tree is beautiful but our cats ruin it by climbing and sneakily crawling into it.

My grandma loves to bake Christmas logs, coconut balls and Christmas cake for Christmas time. There are lots of good foods like Christmas pudding, chocolates, honey rings, mince pies and many more.

This is how my family and I celebrate Christmas. I hope you celebrate Christmas differently but still enjoy it. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!
