A few months ago in a field in London there were 15 mice. In the hot days in summer 14 of them worked so hard to prepare food for winter. They wanted to make sure they would have enough food to eat. However, the lazy mouse just slept in the sun and didn't even try to lend a hand.

When it started raining and snowing all of the mice went in the small cottage (which was

their house.) Unfortunately, they didn't have anything but food in their cottage. So they couldn't entertain themselves. All of the mice were very sad and didn't even smile or laugh. But then, the lazy mouse started saying funny and interesting stories. Everybody laughed and smiled. They felt much better than before.

All of the mice at the end of the winter seemed very happy. For sure all of them had laughed throughout the winter. In spring, they sang merrily all along!
