Language book pg14. Write scene 3 of the sun and the wind.
Setting : On the Beach
Characters: cloud, woman, sun and wind
Now the wind is angry. He wants to try again. This time the challenge takes place on the beach. Who will blow the woman’s hat?
The wind: Let’s try again. I can make the woman’s hat blow off.
The Cloud: Stop arguing!
The sun: No, we are not arguing but the truth is that I am stronger.
The wind: This time you start. I’m sure you will not manage.
The sun: I will use my heat to win this challenge.
The woman: I must not take my hat off to protect myself from the heat of the sun.
Now it’s the wind’s turn.
The wind: I will use all my strength to blow the woman’s hat off. This time I will win.
The wind blew and blew very hard.
The woman: Noooo! My hat blew away!
The wind: Hurray!! I won.
The sun: I will beat you next time.
The cloud: Now you are both happy because you won at least once. You will better make friends.
The sun: Of course! We need each other’s help.
The wind: I apologise. You will shine in summer and spring. And I will blow in autumn and winter. Deal?
The Sun: Agree. That’s a good idea.
The Cloud: Finally, no more arguing.
From that day, they never argued again and they lived happily ever after.
