We began the week with a walk around the school grounds to find some signs of Spring, the children looked very carefully and enjoyed listening to the bird sounds too. This week the children have started to make their beautiful Easter cards, and have had creative opportunities with a wide range of construction and media. We've played with the farm animals and talked about their babies and what they are called. We have begun to share stories about Easter and the children are beginning to link the idea of new life with the story of Jesus coming back to life. The children have had lots of fun finding hidden chicks and describing their position.
