shrinking size

As the smoke cleared, I spotted the magnificent creature as it tried to escape the moon light. petrified, the beast shrank to the size of a pea ,in fact, it was smaller than a pea! Suddenly, it grew bigger than it's original size ! And it'd turned blue! And the worst part was that I had to fight it! AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked my pocket for something to use. Unfortunately, there was nothing in there. Why does it always happen to me? All of a sudden, I spotted a dagger! I ran for it, but the monster kicked it.
