STEVE BACKSHALL

Steve Backshall has been passionate about all of the animals in his area and as a kid he counted them all as his buddies. after leaving university Steve did martial arts and gained his black belt.

Outside of the television Steve studied for his Biology degree in 2000, he also does rock climbing when he is not working to give entertainment and facts. He is very busy on tv and worked on BBC's Natural History Unit in 2003. Steve found himself to be face to face with a few Komodo Dragons and tried to walk on his own across the Irian Jaya. He also went on strictly come dancing.
