Leonardo da Vinci

He was a famous Italian artist, engineer and scientist. Leonardo is best known for his paintings particularly, the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. He was very generous toward his friends and assistants. Da Vinci was dyslexic.

Sally Gardner

She is a British children's writer and illustrator. She won both the Costa Children's Book Award and the Carnegie Medal for Maggot Moon. She was diagnosed with severe dyslexia at 12.

Orlando Bloom

He is a Hollywood actor, best known for his roles in the film Lord of the Rings as Legolas and in the film The Pirates of the Caribbean in the part of Will Turner. He won many awards among them the Teen Choice Award and the MTV Movie Award. When he was discovered as dyslexic at school his mother encouraged him to take art and drama classes.

Keira Knightley

She is a famous Hollywood actress, best known for her roles in the film Bend it like Beckham and in the film The Pirates of the Caribbean. She won many awards among them the Golden Globe Awards and the British Academy Film Awards. She was diagnosed at 6 years old. She is still a slow reader and cannot read out loud.

All the above famous people are all dyslexic. Although they have this condition they still managed to succeed in their career. Leonardo da Vinci and Sally Gardner loved painting whilst Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are both good actors.
