HEALTHY EATING
Our bodies need fuel. We need fuel to give us energy to work, to play, to run to walk.
We get our energy from the food we eat. Some foods are very good for us. They give us lots of energy and help us to fight off illnesses.
In assembly today we thought about why we need to eat healthy food.
Why are fruit and vegetables
good for us?
What types of food are starchy?
Why do our bodies need protein?
What types of fat are there?
Which type of fat is bad for you?
We need to drink to keep our bodies
working, but we need to choose our
drinks carefully.
What is good for us to drink?
