The Magical Raindrop
One stormy morning, Tom an eight year old boy, was sitting on his blue bed. His dark eyes and brown hair twinkled like raindrops. He was a bit sad because it was raining and he was supposed to ride his bike. He heard rain splashing against his window and the roaring of the thunder.
He saw flashes of lightning, cars diving into puddles and rain water flowing in the streets. Suddenly there was a little knock on his window. Right there stood a tiny colorful raindrop. Tom couldn't believe his eyes! He opened the window and was very confused and surprised. Tom let the raindrop in. The raindrop jumped in and started a conversation. It introduced itself. It's name was Sora. Sora jumped in the boy's hands.
It explained how it was made. First, the sun heats up the water and when it gets warm, it becomes water vapour. It rises in the sky. When it rises it meets cooler air. Then when it cools it turns into droplets and fall as rain. The boy closed the window. Sora told him all about its life.
Sora told him how it landed on an umbrella which is a soft surface but sometimes it lands on a car or pavement which is a hard surface. It granted him a wish. He wished to control the rain. After he granted his wish it left to grant another kid's wish.
