We enjoyed learning about the traditions of Chinese New Year this week and we have celebrated the Year of the Tiger. We shared the story of the great race and learned why the rat and the cat fell out and have not been friends ever since! The children had lots of fun playing in the cooked noodles and rice with the chopsticks and Chinese cutlery. We made some amazing dragon puppets and Chinese lanterns and had lots fun creating our own dragon music and dances! We have also had lots of fun ordering numbers and measuring dragons.
