Mother Teresa's Biography
Childhood
Mother Teresa was born in 1910 and she lived in Serbia. Her real name was Agnes Bojaxhiu and she always helped her parents at home. She did that because she always wanted to help other people.
Work
When she grew up, she went to live in Calcutta, India. She went there to help other people because she was very kind. She worked as a nun. She built her own hospital for the poor and people called her Mother Teresa. She was like a mother to the people!
Achievements
All her life she helped other people and in 1997 she received a special prize for her good work that is called 'Noble Prize'. She gave all her money to the poor people and she was very famous but unfortunately she died in 1997.
