A Fairytale with a Twist - Jack and the beanstalk

One day there was a boy named Jack. Jack lived with his mother, in a cottage on a farm. They had no money to buy food so his mother told him to take their cow to the market and sell it.

On his way, he met a strange man who gave Jack a bag of magic beans for his cow. When Jack went home he told his mother that he exchanged the cow for the magic beans. His mother got furious and threw the beans out of the window. A few days later, Jack looked out of the window and saw that the beans turned into a giant beanstalk. He climbed up the beanstalk and saw a castle. He went in the castle as quiet as a mouse. In the castle, there was a giant who had a duck laying golden eggs. Jack waited till the giant slept and stole the duck.

The giant woke up and followed Jack down the beanstalk. However, as soon as he saw Jack’s mother, the giant forgot all about the stolen duck and fell head over heels in love with Jack's mum and married her.
