It was a scorching hot day and Horrid Henry was late for his first day of school because mum lost her shiny, gold car keys. (The cat was sat on them). When Henry finally got to his new school he left Peter and ran down the hall passed all the kid's vibrant, coats and bags. He didn't stop...

As he passed, what he thought was the breakfast club room smelt of burnt toast, invaded his nostril's but he still didn't stop! He sprinted to the class and slipped over a puddle of water (or orange). Starting to panic, he slipped over another puddle and fell face first onto the floor. He already knew his new teachers name Miss Battle-Axe so he imagined her. Then the door next to him opened.

"Henry the new boy." croaked Miss Battle-Axe.

"Y...Y...Yes Miss Battle-Axe," stuttered Henry.

"Your late for your first day," shouted Miss Battle-Axe, "DETENTION!"

As Henry left the room at break-time miss Battle-Axe grabbed his shoulder "Were do you think your going," claimed miss Battle-Axe.

"Break-time miss," Henry said enthusiastically.

"Get back in there with Pan you have detention," said miss Battle-Axe.

"Pan," asked Henry.

"Henry," answered Pan.

"Pan it's you I'm so glad it's you. We're in the same school again!" Henry said happily.

"yes!" they both shouted together.

" I'm going for my break so stay in here!" shouted miss Battle-Axe. " OR ELSE!"

And she was gone.

"Do want to play a trick on old Battle-Axe Henry," sniggered Pan.

"Of course I do," "Don't you remember miss Memory," Henry replied.

" O yeah of course," replied Pan.

"Ok lets pour goo on her you know on top of the door like we all-ways do on horrible teachers," mentioned Pan.

"Yeah lets do that," answered Henry. "As you know I all-ways have goo in my bag so do you," stated Henry.

"You know me Henry" said Pan.

"Now lets get to it "answered Henry.

So they did they got twelve pots of goo and poured it into the sick bucket. Then they put it on top of the door. After ten minutes or so they heard miss Battle-Axe coming back.

then she opened the door and...

splat!

"You horrid boys!" screamed miss Battle-Axe

" ha ha ha ha" they both laughed together.

"Bye Henry" said pan.

"Bye Pan" said Henry.
