Wonder
Wonder in an amazing book written by R.J Palacio. My English class read this book, and enjoyed it very much, as it has many feelings and is very meaningful.
This book is about a young boy named August Pullman, who was born with 'Treacher Collins Syndrome', who has been home-schooled for 10 years of his life, therefore he has never been to school, but not for long!
Beecher Prep is an excellent school in August' town, which could be the start of his new life, but will he like it? Further down in the book he finally chooses to go to this amazing school, -although when he went to school in his earlier years he got bullied, so much that he had to start wearing astronaut helmet, how would you feel.
Summer, a well known, wonderful, pretty student in Beecher Prep, always sits near August in the cafeteria at lunch time- at first I thought she's going to be mean to him, despite the book saying she was a friendly student, but I was wrong, she started to talk to him and they became best of friends! August loved his new friend, and from that point they would always sit next to each other in the lunch hall, whenever August was stuck with his work she would help him, because that's what friends do, right?
Any book review wouldn't give to much away about the book, so I think I'm going to stop there, but I hope you buy, read or listen to this excellent book and if you like it, make sure to recommend to your family and friends.
I would personally recommend this book to people who like books with a range of characters and feelings, maybe ages 6 and up.
I thank you for reading my blog and i hope you buy this book, as it is a great book, thank you once again.
