Science Week in year 2
In year 2 we have been learning about ways to keep healthy. As it was Science Week, we decided to explore exercise in a bit more detail!
We all had to have a go at doing some different exercises and we timed ourselves to see how many times we could do it in one minute.
We had lots of fun doing hula hooping, jumping, sit ups, hopping and burpee (which was hard!)
After each exercise we thought about what happens to our body when we exercise
and why humans need exercise.
We all had a photograph with Ally,
Charlotte and Wilma.
What was your favourite part of the visit?
We also had lots of fun designing and making our own paper aeroplanes to see how fast we could make them fly!
We talked about how aeroplanes need to be aerodynamic to cut through the air easily!
