Our learning theme for next week will be the nursery rhyme ‘Little Miss Muffet’.Please sing this rhyme with your child at the weekend.

For the challenge this week we ask that you find a picture of spider and together count its legs, then ask your child to jump/clap/hop 8 times. Next, go on ahunt for the number 8 around the house or when you are out and about. Please post on the blog all of the places that your child finds it.

Next week we will be making spiders using a range of materials, having time to be creative and practice our fine motor skills. We will be making delicious spider shaped goodies in cooking too. We will of course be singing the nursery rhyme and chatting about things that make us jump! In Music we will be using our bodies to make spider movements to the music.

Notes: Water and milk are available for the children throughout the day, however if your child does bring in a drinks bottle we ask that it only contains water. If your child has not had a recent sight test or hearing check please arrange this for them as soon as you can. Please ensure your child only brings in toys from home when it is a ‘Toy Day’. Lastly, please sign and return the student information booklet. Thank you.
