Elephants
There are two kinds of elephants , an African elephant and an Asian elephant. The African elephant is the biggest land animal in the world . A elephant can drink 250 litres of water a day. Elephants have a weird body part called a trunk. The trunk helps the elephant to get food and water. Elephants are wild mammals that live in herds .A group of elephants is called a parade. Elephants can live up to 60-70 years and can weigh up to 5-7.5 tonnes. They grow to be 3-4 metres high. When a predator tries to attack them they put their young in the middle and the big elephants circle around their young to protect them.
