Goldilocks & the Three Bears
Next week we will be making and eating porridge, and hopefully it will be just right! We will be writing ‘Wanted!’ posters in a search for Goldilocks as well as an apology letter to the Bears. The children will have opportunities to play lots of number games and we will be adding sets of numbers together using the Goldilocks theme to help us do this.
Please read this story with your child and talk about the characters in the book.
In your child’s wallet you will find a Phonics home study book. The children have begun learning some tricky diagraphs and extra support from home is now needed. Each week there will be a short lists of words for your child to blend and read. In addition there will be a small writing job. Please continue to encourage the use of a range of media to keep it fun. For example, using chalk outside,sparkly pens or using playdough to make the letter shapes.
