The Haunted biscuit tin

It looked just like an ordinary old battered biscuit tin, but this tin was something special.

The tin started off life quite simply as a tin of 'Celebrations' chocolates, chocolates that were demolished one Christmas morning by the Potter twins.

Christmas lunch in the Potter household that year was not a happy one as the twins, by the time lunch had been served, were feeling totally sick and green from all the chocolate scoffing. Mum Potter (Maureen) had spent hours in the kitchen that Christmas morning preparing the lunch, using all fresh local ingredients and was devastated when the twins complained of feeling sick and ate a mouthful only each. "That's it' she quietly whispered whilst slowly sobbing looking at all the wasted food..."I am never dragging 3 heavy sacks home from the organic food market ever again! Its beans and chips for Christmas lunch from now on!"

The twins were in shock at this news as despite scoffing all the chocolates - they loved Christmas dinner. Especially their mums.

Nanny Potter (Anni - without an 'e') smiled to herself. She knew that Maureen didn't mean it and also she know that they could have Christmas dinner later on - warmed up, after a long walk to get rid of the chocolates!

Anyway, the biscuit tin...... haunted? yes, haunted. It was never empty despite Mum and Nanny (Maureen and Anni) swearing that honestly they had never put biscuits in there! How then was it that every morning the tin was full, totally full with the types of biscuits that the twins loved. Even biscuits so new they hadn't even been on sale in the local shops! The twins were intrigued and so one night they decided............
