The Colour Yellow

This week we have all be learning about the colour yellow. We have been thinking about fruits and vegetables and other foods that we might eat that are yellow. We looked at sunflowers and discussed what a flower needs to grow. The children made some beautiful sunflowers this week using a variety of different medias. The sunflowers have really brightened up our classroom. The children took part in an experiment using popcorn kernels, white wine vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. There was a chemical reaction and the popcorn started dancing! We also played 'Kim's memory game' using yellow objects. It was great fun!
