HMS BEAGLE
Charles Darwin left Plymouth at December 23, 1832 to go on board the HMS Beagle to explore the world on sea. He was a naturalist on the ship and spent most of his time on different Islands. He returened home on 1836 and lived on the ship for 5 years. He also kept a scetch book of newly discovered animals because they didn't have cameras! While Charles was on his expedition he descovered the 'theory of evolution' and natural selection.

HIS DISCOVERIES
One of his most famous discovery is on the Galapagos
Islands. Where he found 13 different kinds of Finches on 13 different Galapagos Islands. Their beaks were different depending on their enviroment. If any animal can't fit into their surrounding ( llike if its to hot or to cold) then they will die. This is called natural selection.
Fossils also helped him to predict the size of the animal.
He also discovered Galapagos Mocking birds, Barn owles, Marine Iguana, Land Iguana, Spiders, Sea animals, turtles and lots more. He also discovered that humans evolved from Monkeys.
Charles Darwins discoveries changed the world and how we think now
and forever.
