Day Two

Well, today has whizzed by and it's been another good'un!

Our highlights from today were the zipwire (see photo above) and High All Aboard - an activity where you are attached to a rope and you climb up a twelve metre pole to a small square platform. When you and your partner get to the top you have to let go of your rope (don't worry! We were still attached to it!), hold onto your partner's hands and lean backwards - it was a bit scary but we all challenged ourselves and cheered each other on. We also did an activity where we imagined that we were stranded on an island and we had to build shelter for ourselves (see photo above) and make a stretcher for our injured pilot.

Tony arrived during breakfast this morning and he has spent the day with us...he even climbed the High All Aboard pole and had a go on the zipwire!

Finally, we were allowed to go to the shop after lunch today and we stocked up on some goodies - many off us are looking forward to going back again tomorrow!

We also played lazer tag today and have taken part in some team building activities. It rained a bit earlier on and some of us had to go on the zipwire in the rain - but we didn't even notice as we were having so much fun and it soon stopped. Tonight we are going to be singing songs around the camp fire and then it'll be time for bed. We're so excited about the pool party and disco tomorrow!
